Moderatelyrational is a blog set up by David Holmes and Andy Greensfelder, two retired attorneys and long-time friends, who enjoy discussing public policy and politics, as well as lots of other things.
Andy comes to the discussion from the standpoint of a moderate liberal, while David would describe himself as a moderate conservative.
Amazingly enough, both of them find far more to agree on than to disagree, and each feels that too much of today's discussions about public policy and politics has become excessively partisan and extreme.
We hope that this blog will be a welcoming place for a discussion of the issues that we all face today, asking only that all contributors treat each other with courtesy and respect. We promise to do the same.
